Handbook / Travel Guide
We are collecting information from people in the neighborhood about the practical things a person needs to know when they arrive to Macondo (such as where to take a sick child, lists of emergency numbers, addresses of mosques, temples, churches, how to join a soccer club, take the subway or go to the movies, etc). This information will be assembled in a handbook including blank pages for people to add missing information, facts and anecdotes. The handbook / guide will continue to grow and change as people add knowledge. This practical information will form the core of the book.
In a second phase, other things will find their ways into the pages: stories, history, images, garden dialogues among other things that are generated and collected through the other projects that make up “Life on Earth”.
