MONDAY - SATURDAY
THE BUS (only runs monday - saturday, otherwise scroll down to see streetcar directions)
Take U3 to the End Station “Simmering”
Catch the 73A Bus to LANDWEHRSTRASSE (**DO NOT TAKE to “PANTUCEKGASSE”)
(go up a very long escalator - which will be in the middle-ish of the platform. at the top, you will see a cafe/pastry shop to your left. walk by the shop onto the street and take the bus “73A LANDWEHRSTRASSE” it’s important that it says “landwehrstrasse” on it. there are 2 different 73A busses. the other one doesn’t come out to Macondo. take this bus to the last stop (Landwehrstrasse) which is right in front of a big supermarket called Interspar - the whole shopping center is called HUMA.)
in front of you will be a big single level shopping center surrounded by a massive parking lot. you want to walk around the right of the shopping center past the “media markt”. there will be more parking lots. when you walk past the media markt, hang left. and keep walking. on your left-hand-side will be a store called “metro” which is basically an austrian version of costco. walk past it (metro on your left and a parking lot with a sort of metal shelter over it on your right). all the way at the back of the parking lot, past metro are some shipping containers in front of a bright yellow corrugated tin/steel wall. (see the picture below) walk to that wall and go through the little slot. on the other side is macondo. the soccerfield. our garden area is across the soccer field to the right.
SUNDAY
the bus doesn’t run on Sunday, so you have to take the streetcar 71 from the U3 Simmering metro stop here are the directions: Google Maps
